went to meet vanna at suntec and that poor girl is sick again! >:( dont be so stressed out please.must take care of yourself okay. especially when chinese new year is just a few weeks from now. work must be the reason. i hate seeing/hearing you sick vanna. you were sick when we had dinner with aly at shokudu and you were sick when i came by your place at midnight and you're sick again now!! I WANT YOU TO GET BETTER INSTANTLY AND PERMANENTLY. maybe you should ask your mummy to buy vitamin c to take daily. it really helps!
decided to be a good girl and went to get lunch for my mummy since she was complaining to me last night how she's so stressed out and too busy to even have a proper lunch everyday. she either eats nonsense like just buy whatever she sees first or from the nearest shop or something or she doesnt eat at all cause she'll just work until she forgets the time or she'll be too busy to realise how much noise her stomach is making. so i went to get her soup spoon because she loves soup spoon. they're having some souper value meal where you can choose one salad with one wrap/bread or one soup and a choice of drink or fruit for $9 to $12 depending on which salad wrap or soup you choose. ANYONE WANTS TO HAVE LUNCH WITH ME AT SOUP SPOON ONE DAY!! (cause i have this feeling that glenn doesnt like soup spoon but he'll just go because he knows i want to go there. but he wont be enjoying it!!) anyway her favourites are waldorf salad and tokyo chicken soup. plus she was saying how much she missed eating banana muffins from delifrance. yknow how difficult it is to find a delifrance outlet in singapore. there's maybe only about 6 left! i know there's one at mount elizabeth hospital, coronation plaza, chancery court cold storage, lot 1, selegie or something. the rest are just way out of my area. there's used to be so many around. like just across my house at jelita, or at anchor point (which is now taken over by tcc i just realised it today), or at suntec basement which is now bakerzin. i bet the centrepoint one is gone too. whats happening to all the delifrance(s) in singapore!
anyway, went to meet gen for lunch at ikea after! salmon salmon salmon. black peppercorn baked salmon yuummmmmm. i love salmon. both raw and cooked. speaking of raw fish, i cant wait for cny so i get to eat yusheng!!! lots and lots of yusheng. (: thats the second best thing i love about cny. first has to be the angbaos! hahah okay im seriously just kidding. i shall be auspicious this year and wear red. i used to think wearing red on cny and on national day was stupid. but oh well. im stupid what since i didnt buy my steve madden green sandals when it was on sale selling for only 80 freaking dollars. i still cant forgive myself for not getting it then. shitshitshit.
gen had to leave early cause her bf came to her house to suprise her and he didnt know that she had plans to meet me. silly girl, we can always cancel yknow. so she left early and i went for some retail therapy on my own. charles and keith didnt have the sandals i wanted. ): i wanted this pair of dark brown sandals last time but didnt get it cause i already had a pair of dark brown sandals (the one which broke on sunday) now i have 0 pairs of sandals, and im not even talking about dark brown ones. sighhh.
mission for this weekend: get a new pair of sandals and persuade myself that its nicer and more worth it than the steve madden pair (this is quite an impossible task) and try toapayoh's mini handmade tau sa pau.
going to finish my rachel gibson book now. so i can start on mitch albom's the five people you meet in heaven.
i think the five people i would like to meet in heaven are: God, my great grandma, my gradma, my guardian angel, and anyone who can make good tau sa paus.
i really hope they have tau sa paus in heaven. (fingers crossed)
