FRIDAY 28TH JAN.

FISH SOUP FISH SOUP FISH SOUP.
western best became wild wild west.

kite flying soon okay shihui!!! (: after cny.

late book out this week :/ dinner at the buger shack.

double for him single for me.
3 inch sin for dessert! they're famous for their chocolate lava cakes. the molten flavours that they have in their lava cakes are original, mint, bitter orange, coffee, hazelnut, raspberry, peanut butter, white chocolate, lemon and cherries jubilee. we tried hazelnut and original. the hazelnut was so damn damn damn goooooood. and icecream flavours were french vanilla, macadamia, peanut butter, dark chocolate and chocolate banana. we had french vanilla and dark chocolate. i didnt like the dark chocolate icecream. dont taste like icecream at all.

oh and they offer other desserts besides their famous lava cakes as well. but only available on saturday and sunday. so we didnt get to tryyy. i wanted the dark side sounds so nice.
original chocolate lava cake with french vanilla icecream.
hazelnut chocolate lava cake with dark chocolate icecream. i think chocolate lava cakes are best eaten with vanilla icecream.

SATURDAY MORNING 29TH JAN.

i love waking up early on saturday mornings and helping my parents at the wet market. makes me excited just thinking about how i have to do the marketing for my own family next time every saturday morning.

glenn woke up late and skipped novena (again). he felt like having prata so i brought him to try this prata place at xin min which has been having so many good reviews in magazine articles newspapers and was even featured on the tv programme makan places lost and found. clementi after to get old chang kee curry puff and we decided to try oktea (opposite koi) instead of koi. hm not bad but i hate how these bubble tea shops are increasing the amount of pearls they give. its like damn alot (half cup) of pearls. if i'd wanted pearls i'd just order one cup of pearls.

lunch at taste paradise ion level 4. omg best dim sum everrrrr. i like i like i likeeeeee. i have to go there again before i leave in end feb for sureee.

prawn and mango fritter.
ha kau.
peanut and oats bun. omg this is my favourite out of everything we ordered!! it may not look like much but omg omg love ittttt. we actually wanted to order another round of this but by that time it was already like four and the kitchen staff were off duty already. oh welll.
prawn and mushroom seaweed roll.
xlb. i think their xlb is way nicer than crystal jade's. i dont really like the crystal jade's xlb after taste that will remain in your palate and your stomach for hours and i'll keep tasting it every time i burp. but the xlb here is smaller and not that much liquid inside.
even thou i dont like flaky crusted egg tarts, the filling was really soft and yummy.
siew mai.
salted egg custard pau. shiok if you like custard. the salted egg taste wasnt that strong.
and meatballs with some orange sauce.

went to bras basah complex after to sell all my O and A level books and such. hahah i still kept them after all these years. but they were taking up too much space and i dont even use them and by the time my sister starts preparing for her Os and As, the syllabus would have changed alot already. so time to sell! if you have old books, sell them okay dont throw them! my parents have this habit of throwing away everything and anything old or broken. i got $40 for all my books! i think i could have gotten more if i sold them individually instead of altogether in a bulk. oh well better than throwing them away.

dinner after at the garden slug. its at 55 lorong L telok kurau #01-59/61 bright centre. its a good place!! i highly highly recommend the pan seared dory fillet. portions are large prices are reasonable. and this place had many reviews too so we decided to go try try try!
wagyu beef burger. premium no-filler wagyu patty, mushrooms, greens, tomatoes and cheese in a sesame bun. potato wedges at the side were good.
meduim rare (Y)
i love thisss. pan seared dory fillet. lightly seared with just salt and pepper, topped with capsicum bits and salad and mash at the side.
the sweet sweet slug. platter of tiramisu, brownie popsicle, pear william, berries and a ball of vanilla gelato.

this is what stupid field camp did to my poor baby's feet ): he cant even walk properly without it hurting.

SUNDAY 30TH JAN.

church in the morning and xin min prata with family for breakfast.

there's this "something like a push cart stall but not really one" stall giving out free cny cookies. there was diamond pistachio slice, lemon almond slice, macadamia cheese cookie and mocha walnut cookie. they were all good.

SUSHI TEI for lunch. glenn was so super hungry. it was already 2pm and he didnt have breakfast.

chawanmushi is a must.
and so is salmon sashimi.
we decided to order new things to try today! meat gyoza.
eel egg rice.
fried tofu.
omg i was quite full after that. but glenn was still hungry. hahah so we ended up at strictly pancakes.

the druggie for $11.
5 mins later. (come to think of it, it was more like 5 seconds later)
helped my mummy with supermarketing after. its the first time we bought so much stuff!! cny cny.

are you a ben and jerry's person?
or a haagen dazs person?
i think im both. hehhh im so greedy ahha.

was teaching him how to solve a rubix cube. he's so cute. (:

i hate it when he books in every sunday evening ):
