my sister had tuition today and she ended at 6.30. so i decided to be nice/helpful by texting my mom to ask if she wanted me to go fetch her so that she wont have to rush back from work. when she came home at 5.30,
me: did you get my text? i can go fetch sha if you're too tired. then you can just rest later.
her: im very busy! how to read your sms?! (in an annoyed tone)
me: so how? i can go pick her up later since im going jogging now anyway.
her: no need lah i fetch her myself. dont distrub me lah go away. (in an even more annoyed tone)
me: IM NOT DISTURBING YOU! IM TRYING TO HELP YOU!
and i just went out of the house.
i understand that she's damn stress and had to rush to my sister's school for parent teacher meeting after work and all. but. seriously. i dont see how any of it is my fault.
and when i came back, my dad starting scolding me. so obviously my mom complained about me. apparently she didnt like it when i shouted at her. (see above, my last line)
him: nicole! doesnt mean you text someone means the person is with their phone and can reply you straight away. (i did try calling her first before i texted okay. twice.) she's very stressed+busy, so can you just back off and give her some space.
WHAT THE FUCK SERIOUSLY. im sorry im swearing its really unlike me to swear. but seriously. i was just trying to help right.
sometimes i feel that its really good that im going overseas soon. i dont see how scolding = a form of parent-child communication. i just dont want to leave my sister all alone to get all the scolding + venting of anger + blaming from them.
i really need my brother now.
