heeeee im so happpppyyyyyyy. :D
i was seriously damn scared in the morning. met aaron at bbdc and he was so calm okay! i was panic-ing like mad. and the warm up instructor thought he was my boyfriend hahah.
and before i knew it, it was already time for my test!! i was like omgomg how i must pass. luckily my instructor was super friendly he called me "NIKOLA CHERRY TAY" by the way. whatever i dont care what he calls me, pass me can already. (: and i was praying so hard i wont get test route 6 or 8 cause those two are one of the most difficult routes! BUT I GOT ROUTE 8! at least still better than 6. cause both these routes have this upslope where you have to stop at to let people cross to the market. so must handbrake and get the biting point again. and i always roll back on a slope, so i was damn scared.
so we set off and started on the circuit first. i was telling myself to treat it like a normal lesson. so freaking scary i swear. i did everything right except while turning into directional course i turned too late. and i know if i go anymore forward i'd confirm go up the curb or strike the curb! and strike curb is 10 points and go up the curb is immediate failure! so omg i didnt know what to do and i did want to get points! so i decided to reverse! i didnt even know it i was allowed but i tried it anyway. i realised after that the system gave me one free pass for reverse manoeuvre. so it didnt count even though it was two points. and while reversing my reverse gear got stuck! ehhh not my fault okay! its the car's fault that its stuck whatttttt. anyway 2 points for that wth.
then went out on the road and went to teck whye choa chu kang there. was supposed to do a u-turn. and he kept telling me to slow down! i was driving at 65 and the speed limit was 70. but my instructor told me before that if you drive at like 50 on a 70 road, you'll get points for road hogging!!! so he gave me 6 points for driving too fast?!?!!
then after the u-turn, i was supposed to turn into teck whye up the slope to stop before the market to let people cross. but my tester didnt tell me anything!! was supposed to turn right but he didnt give me any instruction!!! i was waiting so long till in the end i decided to keep left. cause you're supposed to keep left if no instruction is given. but i waited for his instruction so long till i was already in the yellow box when i changed lane!!!! not allowed!!! so 4 points for that.
THEN SINCE HE TOLD ME TO GO BACK TO THE SCHOOL AFTER THAT RIGHT, I THOUGHT I FREAKING FAILED LAH. cause my instructor told me before that if the tester tells you to go back when you havent even completed your route means you did something wrong or you fail already so there's no point continuing. then i was like going to cry already i swear. like omg omg fail already how come he dont let me complete the route. like i didnt even do the route at all!!!! just went onto the main road and did a u-turn and thats it!
so while going back i thought i failed already right, then there was this zebra crossing before bbdc, and i totally didnt check for pedestrians!!!! so i just went, when there was this guy jogging. so he had to stop to let me pass. ): oh dear God. 4 points for that. cause when i saw him, my foot was already on the accelerator! and if i were to brake, i'd be on the zebra crossing!! which is immediate failure. so i just went lor. anyway in my mind was already FAIL FAIL FAIL. then when i went back, i was like the first few back cause i didnt complete my course at all!! then he spoke to me and told me my mistakes in a damn demoralising tone and i seriously thought i failed. first thing i was thinking of was, how am i going to explain to my mother that i just wasted her money. BUT I PASSED!! WITH 16 POINTS! if i wasnt so demoralised i think i would only have 8!
so my mistakes made during the test was:
fail to use appropriate gear 2 points
change lane abruptly 4 points
fail to slow down when approaching road hazards 6 points
fail to look out for traffic/pedestrians at junction 4 points
but aaron failed! he striked the curb and thats 10 points already! and there's other minor mistakes (2 points kind) and in the end he got 24 points! ): we were supposed to pass together!
went westmall to treat him udders after. cause whoever passed was supposed to treat.
there was a really bad jam at bukit timah towards sixth ave in the afternoon cause there's this crane which hit the overhead bridge just before sixth ave and the bridge was unstable and about to collaspe so they had to block off the whole road/area and all the cars were trying to find alternative routes and so holland/farrer was jammed.
met glenn for dinner at holland v. crystal jade la mian and xlb! they should seroiusly just join both the la mian and xlb outlet with the dimsum outlet lah. what if i want to eat la mian xlb porridge and dim sum lehh. then so inconvenient! they just want us to pay service charge twice.
finally got him to try the chocolate crunchie something cake at da poalo.
then after came to my place. he watched germany vs argentina. 4-0. shocked.
